We often discuss the concept of mind power and its scientific basis. What laws govern this power and are they universally applicable? Power is undeniably at play, influencing much of our actions or lack thereof through the mind. However, it is important to note that the mind exists outside the realm of Physics' laws, despite its undeniable potency. While the equivalence between matter and energy is firmly established, we must question whether there is an equivalence between matter and mind. Some mystics, along with their supporters, assert that mind power can bring forth the creation of matter from nothingness. If we consider nothingness as a physical vacuum, then the possibility exists, as zero-point energy is present within it.

If a quantum theory of mind could be developed, there is potential for meaningful exploration of the aforementioned possibilities. This topic has been a focus of a select few theorists. The idea of a unity between mind and matter remains uncertain and awaits further investigation. However, at present, the extent of our knowledge on this matter remains unknown.

The mind possesses qualities that can be analogously compared to certain characteristics of physical devices. Take, for instance, a p-n junction diode that serves the purpose of rectification, converting alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). While AC fluctuates, DC remains constant. Similarly, a resilient mind has the ability to transform life's uncertainties into a calm and harmonious state.

An intelligent mind has alertness. It can sense external stimuli and direct the body to act appropriately. In this way, it acts as a sensor. It has also the attribute of a solid state oscillator. An oscillator generates electromagnetic waves which can be detected by another device, a detector, if it is tuned to the frequency of the wave. Since these devices are electronic in nature and follow quantum laws, perhaps, there could be a possibility of the role of quantum theory in the understanding and analyzing of the mind.
