While this sequence may seem like an accurate depiction of human existence, those who adhere to this view often lead mechanical lives, navigating through each phase without much contemplation.
Nevertheless, life extends far beyond a mere mechanical existence, offering abundant adventure and opportunities to those who approach each moment with mindfulness. Thus, the question remains: What truly defines life?
According to Dr. Radha Krishan, life encompasses a constant struggle between various contrasting elements.
This battle entails conflicts between the spiritual and material realms, knowledge and ignorance, self-control and temptation, as well as discrimination and worldly desires. Embarking on this battle signifies our journey from mere humanity to achieving divine qualities.
Life can be perceived as a battlefield, as one cannot expect opportunities to be handed to them; rather, they must create their own path. Human life is not predestined, but rather grants us the freedom to shape our own destiny. As we delve within ourselves, we realize that we are engaged in an ongoing internal conflict.
Moreover, engaging in the outer battle of life entails addressing our daily personal, familial, professional, and societal challenges.
Given that humans exist simultaneously in both external and internal realms, they must strive to overcome these battles in order to grow individually and actively contribute to the betterment and efficiency of society.
